Spider wood

Spider wood is the perfect wood to have as a centerpiece, with its tight clump growth and branches coming out in all directions its a very natural looking wood. Spiderwood is full of crevices perfect for stuffing plants into ( anubias, ferns, buces) or offering hiding spots for fry or shrimp!

• Driftwood has been cleaned and disinfected but we always recommend a rinse before adding it to your aquarium.
• Some pieces of driftwood will float initially. This is perfectly normal. You can either tie/ glue or wedge your driftwood onto a rock or bury it down into your substrate a ways. After the wood has become waterlogged it will sink naturally. This process can take between 1-4 weeks.  
  
  
• ** With dark woods some people prefer to boil their driftwood to remove as much tannins as possible before placing into the aquarium. Tannins are natural and pose no harm to fish or plants.
