Just like most swords it's a heavy root feeder so we do recommend either root tabs or a nutrient rich substrate to unlock the full potential of this plant! Regular trimming will be required as this plant can get huge, its been known to grow up to 20" with proper conditions! No CO₂ or high light required make it a hardy and beginner-friendly plant.
