Bacopa Monnieri is a popular back or mid-ground stem plant with pairs of light green  leaves sprouting from the base to the tip of the stalk. 

This plant can be great for beginners because it is hardy and does not require CO2 injection. It does prefer a nutrient-rich environment and clean water. It requires moderate light or the lower parts of the stems will begin to drop.  This plant is the opposite of picky. Just snip and replant to propagate.

 

Notes: Bacopa is extremely hardy aquarium plants and is a great beginner choice. However, its leaves are fragile and should be handled with care.CO2 injection and quality aquarium soil will yield better growth.

Good and possibly bad

The plants all arrived in good condition and are doing well in the tank they went in, which was home already to a few plants from another store. A week or so after the new plants went in I noticed the tank is home to a new species of snail as well as a dragonfly or damselfly nymph. I cant say for sure if they came in on the plants from this place or from the other store.
